Racist fan not, uh, racist

"We wanted to give a touch of humour to Montmelo and have a laugh at the father of Hamilton" was the reaction of one of the fans who covered themselves in black paint and wrote crude remarks on flags last week during testing in Spain. He insists that his intention was not to be racist, but to provoke amusement. What an ar****le, surely something must have twigged in his brain that perhaps what he was doing was not strictly "PC"?
